What are the differences between an indoor ball and a beach volleyball ball?
There are many differences between indoor and outdoor balls. The outdoor beach volleyball is lighter, softer, less inflated and larger. A regulation indoor ball will be hard, small and heavy compared to an official beach volley ball.
The best volleyball ball to use for beach is the Official Wilson AVP beach volleyball ball. This is the white and yellow ball that is outlined in black and says Official Game Ball on it. But Wilson also makes a replica ball that looks exactly like the Official ball but it is made of the worst material on earth. It fills like the bladder of the Replica ball is made of bricks because it does not bounce. Never buy the Replica game ball, it is way cheaper ($15 to $25 bucks) but it is one of the worst balls ever made. Make sure that your ball says OFFICIAL on it. The official ball on the other hand is the best ball ever made and it is what is used by the professional beach volleyball players in the AVP.
