8 Meters by 16 Meters.

When playing in the sand you have to use beach volleyball lines that are made of webbing. It is preferred that you get the 2 inch webbing because they are easier to see and look more professional.

This goes for all outdoor volleyball when playing 2 on 2 either in sand or grass.

Indoor volleyball court measurements are 9 Meters by 18 Meters.

If you are not aware of how big a meter is it is 3.28 feet, so 8 meters is 26.24 feet. This means that each side of the net is 1 meter narrower and 1 meter shorter. This allows 2 people to better defend their side of the net while on defense and makes for more interesting rallies for the players and fans. It just doesn’t make any sense to play on the same size of court that takes 6 people to defend when you only have 1 blocker and 1 defender.

Another good tid bit of information to be aware of is the official net height, unlike the beach volleyball court size, the beach volleyball net height is the same as it is for indoor volleyball for men and women.
Men’s Net Height = 7’11″ 5/8 inches
Women’s Net Height = 7’4″ 1/8 inches
