There are net systems that you can set up in the grass for recreational fun with groups of people. These are perfect for a day at the park or company party. They come with rope volleyball lines and are usually set to the larger court size because it is assumed that groups of people will be playing.

Beach Volleyball Nets

For the more competitive athletes there are beach volleyball nets designed to take a beating while staying very tight. They cost more money than normal outdoor volleyball nets because they are enforced with a metal wire across the top and bottom. They also have wooden dowels. The steel cable is made so that you can tighten the net as much as you desire.

Don’t go cheap on the net, especially if you want anyone to come back to your sand volleyball court to play. So, you did your research on the sand volleyball court dimensions and put up your volleyball posts and now you just need the net. A little research will show that there are some very cheap nets and some very expensive ones. While there might be some volleyball nets for as low as 20 bucks, they are that cheap for a reason. The don’t have wire in them so you can crank them and they don’t have wooden dowels at the ends to keep the net tight. The worst thing is having a loose net that you can’t play balls out of.
